The idea behind Peukert

Peukert is a Prague-based online store for furniture and home goods — seating, storage, tables, lighting, textiles and the details in between. It is run by one person, Niels Peukert, which keeps the range tight and the standards personal.

What guides the selection

Three questions decide whether a piece gets listed: does the material justify the price, will the shape still look right in ten years, and can it survive daily use? Marketing stories don't make the cut; specifications do.

Practical by design

Every product page states the carton size and shipping weight taken from the manufacturer's logistics data — so you know before ordering whether it fits through the stairwell. Prices are final, in Czech crowns, VAT included.
